I have yet another series in the works, and wanted to share this dynamite of a cover by the talented Joshua Gowdy. This is another co-created effort with my partner in crime Tim Daniel entitled SKINNED.
At its core, the series is about two star-crossed lovers living in an archaic future city that believe reality is a disease. Separated by a societal caste system, an heiress and a boy from the slums manage to find each other in a world that has given citizens the ability to choose from a multitude of realities via ocular lenses. Their struggle: Never losing site of each other in this ever changing landscape.
We’re closing in on wrapping up the pitch, and then it’s off to the submissions races!
Feel free to like the project’s Facebook page for updates and first-look access at the production of the series.

I know, I’m as stunned by this gorgeous cover as you are. There are few that can evoke a myriad of emotions with a single image, and one of those brilliant artists is W. Scott Forbes.
Currently in need of a home, Tim and I hope to have this project ready to pitch to various publishers in the coming months. Regardless, we’re both really excited to be tackling our first vampire story! We’re confident it’s nothing that you’ve read before, and hope our small creative contribution to the genre makes a big splash when the times comes.
Stay tuned, but in the meantime go check out the project’s Facebook page for first-look access at the production of the series.

I wanted to share a very special preview of the new cover for my series After Houdini. I’ve revised the title due to the fact that I don’t want readers to be confused with the fact that the protagonist on the cover is NOT Harry Houdini, but his son Josef.
Thanks to some solid critiques on the first cover from friends in the industry, Kevin and I decided to go with this more dynamic approach.
The beautiful colors are done by none other then Falynn K.
The revised logo design is handled by international heartthrob Ryan Ferrier.
We’ve received very strong interest from some big publishers, so check back here for further developments.

For all that may have missed it, Strange Love – Part 14 went up on Friday. I discuss my first experience attending a convention as a registered pro, and managing my expectations, which is quite fitting considering the weekend I just had attending Emerald City Comic Con–more on that down the line.
Hope you enjoy Part 14 and thanks for reading!
